"The Relatives Came" Reminds Columnist of Maine

Columnist Amanda Lehrman found the book The Relatives Came by Cynthia Rylant at her local Belleville, NJ library. Lehrman writes, “My aunt told me a story this year that sums up The Sanctuary and The Relatives Came. While out at a restaurant near the house, Jack’s 4-year-old cousin turned to his father and said, ’Can we go back to Maine?’ He meant go back to The Sanctuary, but it really meant so much more.
