Maine Camps are the finest and most well established in the country. There are a variety of types to choose from and all provide children with a wonderful camp experience. Some summer camps are single gender while others are coed. There are also brother/sister camps that are on one campus or located nearby, where boys and girls have separate facilities and programs.

Maine Camp Experience

Most MCE Camps are privately owned and operated, and some are not-for-profit. Some MCE Camps are religiously affiliated, while most are non-denominational. Some camps are full-season, generally 6-7 weeks in length. Other camps offer half sessions, which tend to be 3-4 weeks. Others offer a combination of sessions, including a 2-week option. Some camps also offer 1-week specialty camps.
