Social Responsibility
Social action is an important part of any MCE summer, and our camp directors incorporate activities and programs that instill a lifelong commitment to giving back.
The camps incorporate programs to engage campers with important causes and organizations like collaborating with Camp Sunshine which supports children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, and partnering with World of Change to help collect spare change for social action initiatives for children and families in need.

I remember my first year at camp. I was so scared that I wouldn’t make any friends. I have never slept more than two days away from my parents, but the second day at camp it was like I had been Fernwood Cove forever. The girls and the counselors are all so welcoming.
