After finishing my final summer at Pinecliffe I am beyond grateful for the opportunities I have been given. The 7 summers I spent at Camp Pinecliffe were the best summers of my life. The girls I’ve met along the way are my sisters, my age group is my family, a collection of the most beautiful, strong, talented, hilarious, kind women I’ve ever come across. Pinecliffe taught me how to take risks, be creative, become an individual, and allow myself to be hard. I was able to try things I never could’ve dreamed of – hiking a mountain, water skiing, creating my own jewelry, and white water rafting.

I’m going into my jungle summer here at Pinecliffe and I am very excited. This year we get to plan TDC and be in JR which will be an unforgettable experience. Pinecliffe holds very special place in my heart. It has taught me so much and I have so many amazing memories here. Pinecliffe is my home. I am so grateful for all the summers I have spent here at Pinecliffe. The friends I’ve made here will be with me for the rest of my life. Anyone who gets to come to this camp is very fortunate and I strongly recommend CP. It will leave you with unforgettable bonds and memories that will stick with you for a lifetime! From the day I get home I start to count down the days until I will be back in the 04040. 44 days! There isn’t one dull moment at camp. This place gave me 200 new friends and 30 new sisters that I talk to year round and am beyond close with. Pinecliffe is the best place on earth!

I have no words for how much of my life I have devoted to Camp Pinecliffe. It hits and helps in every aspect of my daily life, even back home. It has provided me with life long friends, memories, tears, smiles and laughs. With only two years left, which will go by in the blink of the eye, I encourage you to spend the time of your life in this beautiful place. You might come to camp crying of homesickness but I can guarantee you leaving in tears because of camp sickness- the feeling of missing camp. These 7 weeks are something I look forward to all year- and there is no other event that has this type of hype. There is not a single moment I have not cherished here. If you are looking for a tight knit, tradition based, fun camp- Pinecliffe is that and more. Hope to see you here!

Pinecliffe has been my home away from home for 6 summers. The girls there have become my sisters and I truly know that I would not be the same person I am today had I not gone to CP. Pinecliffe has shaped my moral compass and I have learned so much here. The best memories of my life have occurred at camp. Heading into my last summer at this magical place, I am devastated that I will not be returning to the 04040, but I know that I am a changed person because of my experiences here. I am so extraordinarily grateful for all that this camp has taught me and the amazing bonds I have created. Once a CP girl, always a CP girl. I would STRONGLY recommend this camp. With activities ranging from waterfront to drama to landsports to arts to hiking and everything in between, Pinecliffe offers a tremendous variety of offerings and caters to girls with a wide range of interests. The friendships created here are unbreakable. The supportive counselors serve as mentors and friends. The directorship is in the best of hands. The food is delicious and offers many options. Special events like color war and age group-led surprises spice up the schedule! Older and younger campers have strong relationships, especially strengthened by the camp sister program. Founded in 1917, the camp is rooted in tradition but has flourished over the past 99 years. The facilities are wonderful; the campus is gorgeous. Emphasis on values such as kindness, spirit, strength, and honesty shapes girls into independent, adventurous, and compassionate young women with exemplary leadership skills. Most importantly, brown & blue is the best color combo!

I am writing about my Mom who attended Pinecliff in the 1940’s. Pinecliff was such an important pRt of her life. She shared all her memories and pictures with me. Pinecliff was pure, wonderful joyous for my Mom. Thank you for everything.

waiting at the gate on visiting day with all the other excited parents and hearing the cheering beautiful voices of 200 girls. Then, slowly starts the stampede of the 200 girls, all wearing blue and brown, mostly with long pony tails and and its a sea of girls and we can’t distinguish one from the other searching for our daughters!! Until suddenly we are grabbed and hugged and all is right.
