Laurie knows every one of the 40 Maine Camp Experience camps, each camp director, has visited the camps, and her Campcierge® services are free (she is part of the Maine Camp Experience staff).
Prospective camp families truly benefit from this unique Guide service. It’s advantageous that the US’s top region of camps, Maine, has a staff expert dedicated to knowing the nuances and differences amongst the best camps. She talks with parents about the camps, answering all types of questions such as: What are the facilities like? What are the details of specific programs like equestrian? Which camps have a non-denominational “service” on Friday night or Sunday morning?

Laurie is extremely enthusiastic about sleepaway camp in Maine. She is diligent about trying to find the right camp for each child and spends significant time counseling prospective camp families by phone and email. She meets with the 40 Maine Camp Experience directors throughout the year, as well as frequently communicates with them online and by phone. In the summers, she spends time at the Maine Camp Experience camps to continue to see firsthand what makes each special and different. Laurie’s two children are alumnae of Maine Camps.
