Spectacular Maine Lakes

Maine boasts more than 6,000 crystal-clear lakes, each more breathtaking than the next. Maine’s lakes are at the core of each camp’s program and along these shores MCE Camps have built the finest waterfront facilities in America. The result: unparalleled program opportunities for campers unlike anything else. From waterskiing and wakeboarding, to sailing and paddle boarding, to canoeing and kayaking, and swimming and fishing — the opportunities are endless.

Beyond lakes, Maine boasts hundreds of rivers and streams in some of the most picturesque spots on earth. Maine’s white sandy beaches dot its 3,400-mile unspoiled coastline which, if stretched end-to-end, would surpass the distance between New York to California.

Spectacularly Beautiful and Calm

Adam

Maine is spectacularly beautiful and calm, providing the perfect back drop to disconnect from the daily schedules of school and work. I think its the hill-surrounded lakes that are the best part. As a kid, I’m sure I didn’t appreciate the beauty but I loved playing in Coffee Pond at Camp Cedar with all of my friends. I love that my son is now spending his days laughing with his buddies under the towering pine trees.
